PDF position Qualifications:
- Holding a PhD in engineering (chemical, biomedical, material, and mechanical or similar) or science (chemistry, biochemistry, or similar).
- One or two of the below expertise are required:
- Electrochemical biosensing and surface and bio-functionalization.
- Optical biosensing.
- Microfluidics and micro/nanofabrication.
- Polymer chemistry and synthesis.
- Having high-quality publications.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in meetings to deliver and report on project progress.
- Strong leadership, management skills, and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary research lab.
Graduate position Qualifications:
- Holding an undergraduate or master’s degree in engineering (chemical, biomedical, material, and mechanical or similar) or science (chemistry, biochemistry, or similar).
- Being graduated from top Canadian or international universities.
- Undergraduate GPA of 3.75 out of 4 or higher.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in meetings to deliver and report on project progress.
